It's a shame as your dermatologist should be aware that steroids don't treat the underlying condition
The fact its a new and more powerful steroid should give her cause for concern that you need to use it in sensative areas like ears and eyelids most steroids (and I don't know about these ones) state on the information sheet that they shouldn't be used around sensative areas. My suggestion if you can't get a better decision and don't go for the 2.5 hour journey just use it on your trunk and arms and legs and coconut oil on the delicate areas
Also ask what the plan is after 8 weeks as that's as long as you should use steroids does she plan to give you something to tackle the underlying cause
