Hi wintrman and to the club, you have come to the best place for unbiased friendly advice about psoriasis. There is so much information here about the available medications and members experiences of the condition.
Dovobet is intended to be a short term treatment of psoriasis and long term use can and will cause skin thinning as I suffer from that after years of using steroid creams.
As has been suggested in earlier posts you should see a dermatogist who will advise of the best way forward for you. I guess you will be offered methotrexate as that seems to be the first drug offered and usually its very successful
But if you have any questions just shout out and someone will respond fairly fast
Good luck Jim
