What the NHS needs is a top down reorganization where you end up with a NATIONAL Health Service instead of individual empires called trusts and private GPs companies which 90% of them are. We have a situation where one trust will not talk or supply test results to another trust, where self employed consultants dictate what is going to happen for their own convenience instead of the patient. Where GP refused to do specific testing on their listed patients because the fee is not enough in their opinion even though they get a fixed rate for each registered patient even if they never have seen them every year.
Individually a larger amount of the people employed in the NHS are excellent but collectively with the empire builders especially in the management but not exclusively the NHS as a whole are poorly run have little regards for costs and for the most, the patient as well.
