What you call chemist we say pharmacy or drug store
Our GPs, dermatologist, etc work from clinics. Hospitals are for operations, emergencies, specific tests such as MRI, certain treatments, etc
Yes all drugs are subsidised by the government and all dermatology clinics are held at hospitals our GPs operate from surgeries in the community and they refer patients to hospital if they find a problem .
But once you're on the hospital radar they continue with your care, we don't have separate clinics for NHS dermatology so it's usually a visit to a hospital to be seen
