Are all appointments like this in the hospital?
Fred is right our prescription costs are the same whatever the drug is
And costs at present are
Quote:
A Prepayment Prescription Certificate (PPC) lets you get as many prescriptions as you need for a set price.
If you regularly have to pay prescription charges, a PPC could save you money.
The prescription charge in England is £9.15 per item.
A PPC costs:£29.65 for 3 months
£105.90 for 12 months
If you regularly pay prescription charges, a PPC could save you money.
However there are exempt groups who pay nothing and others like me that get them free as I'm over 65
As far as appointments by telephone this is not usual you usually get an appointment every six months and have to attend the hospital to be seen
But however the covid virus has had the effect of dragging them into the 21st century and it seems as if they are using technology if the matter isn't urgent and generally things are going well
They get my blood results monthly and would see if there was cause for concern and ask to see me if deemed necessary
In the post today arrived my next appointment For January 2021 which will be a telephone consultation again
