Yes Marijuana does help and the higher the THC the better, growing something like White Widow produces a high THC content over buying from a dealer and a better purer product it also has has a better beneficial affect.
However you have to remember it also has other affects apart from helping both psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and a wide range of other problems it can fry your brain if your not very careful
I don't know if the ones they are working on for medicinal use will work as well as they won't get you high, and that could be part of the reason it works.
