Does this mean the previous manufacturer of Methoxsalen has given up or is this some healthy competition in the market place

I don't know Jim, and to be honest although I posted it I didn't know there was another thread about Methoxsalen. But having said that, I don't remember much after a nights sleep anyway.

There really isn't any competition (at least not at customer end). It just means that someone new is manufacturing drug. The third party retailers set the price. Nobody shops around for the cheapest retailer because the insurance covers it.
