Psoriatic arthritis and Raynaud`s

Sometimes I wonder just how much one diagnosis of something can cause or be associated with another diagnosis. Simply put since psoriasis is an auto immune disease, does that make us more susceptible to other things (not necessarily immune related although a lot of things are immune related)


Hopefully the Cosentyx will at least give you relief from the psoriatic arthritis as it seems to work well for that

Yes it does Kat. It is called comorbidity. Next week I will be going to a lecture on that subject at a gathering for world Psoriasis day.

Comorbidities can be other auto immune diseases like, Crohns. But also heart related problems and perhaps even more.
Therefore it is important to stay in shape when you have Psoriasis.

@KatT, yes, I thought DMF in the form of Tecfidera would be available at your side. Extremely expensive though, I think it is $ 10,- per pill of 120 mg.
You should ask Bill, our local psoriasisclub mad scientist, how much his pills are costing.
