Sorry I have gone a bit  off topic but I think that and wheat starch could be better than dead sea salt which in my opinion is a scam as it only works if you are in the dead sea.

I rent an apartment, I would say the water is not hard, but not soft either.  Years ago when I lived on a farm with well water, and it was pretty harsh.  I'm disappointed in the dead sea salts honestly.  I tried the soak again over this last weekend.  I see immediate lessening of the redness with baking soda and oatmeal.  Ugh, yes I think I was scammed by the Dead Sea...but lesson learned!

I'm sure most of us have been there, and we have all tried different things. It can help, but by what I know it only helps if you are there. Something to do with the position on the world, but way over my heard. Unfortunately there are people who will plaque those with psoriasis and we have to be very very careful.

But that is just my opinion, and I will stop taking your thread off topic and wish you good luck with your trials.

Don't apologize!  I'm learning and it's good information to have.  I'm seeing the best results so far with the baking soda/oatmeal bath about 3 times a week, along with over the counter coal tar. The coal tar smell is not so nice, but helping so I will happily deal with me stinking to get relief!
