Hi
Thanks Fred.
Dave, good they have altered you to 10 weeks to keep it under control. My derm said she likes to see a bit of P as it means they are not over treating.
Jim, my derm has described it as extensive, I have some normal skin which makes up about a 2cm edge around my face from the ears inwards. My forehead has a shape of pigment which looks like rugged mountains! It is brown in colour with some redness mixed in all over. I should try and learn how to put a photo on here.
I had a brief look at chemical peels but would have to take time off of work and not sure how effective this would be. On the other hand I try to live with it as it only becomes a bigger problem when on holidays, ie having to wear makeup on the beach etc! I will speak with my derm again and hopefully she can point me in the right direction. I know I will have to go private to some kind of clinic but not sure where to start, what is available, who to see, what qualifications , checks they should have, costs ? Etc.
I don’t know if the stelera is contributing to the pigmentation or not. When I ended up in hospital 90% coverage of P , alot of steroids were used, also on my face. Psoriasis inflammation has been ruled out as a long time has passed as has allergies.
Hopefully she will have a magic wand
Angie
