I'm not totally convinced that the hands and ankles aren't osteo as well. I've had problems with my ankles before with bone spurs and from what I've read those are associated with osteo. But time (and doctor's) will eventually go one way or the other. The rheumatologist did images of the knees and hands, agreed the knees were osteo, from the images and my descriptions said the hands are possibly psoriatic (no test for that as you all know) and we didn't cover the ankle joints until after the images so he is only going by my answers to his questions on that one. I had just assumed my ankles were either bone spurs or osteo and figured that was a discussion for primary or orthopedic doc.
