to the club, as Fred says we are a friendly group of sufferers sharing experiences of their frustrating disease, I hope you enjoy your time with us as there is a wealth of knowledge about psoriasis and the various treatments.
The one thing I would advise is that you contact the dermatologist and tell them the light therapy is not giving you lasting clearance, tell them it's affecting your quality of life. Tell them you have done research and are worried about skin cancer with uv treatment, tell them you have read of prescribed treatments that could give you clearance and allow you to start living life again Oral Treatments For Psoriasis
Unfortunately it seems that they will fob you off for years on less than satisfactory treatments unless you can have a conversation with them and ask why you can't go to an effective treatment, but go armed with knowledge of what is availabe which you can see in the above link as the next step is likely to be an oral treatment .
