I really feel for you, with the night time itching. I’ve had many a sleepless night with this.
When I had a high coverage of P, my derm told me that every bit of skin with P is compromised and cannot properly do its job of regulating body temperature etc. so the more you have the harder it is for your body just to keep itself within normal parameters and this contributes to you feeling tired.
Can I ask, do your P patches have thick skin / large flakes or are they red, feel hot to the touch and fine flakes?
Also, have you tried sudocrem (out of a pot, not the tube one) at night to calm it down a bit? (Zinc).
I even used to wear cotton gloves at night when I was desperate, stuck to wrists with plasters so they didn’t come off, because if you can stop the scratching as you know it reduces the itching.
