Good day to all of you
Update: Today is the last day of my FIFTH week on MTX.
1) No noticeable side effects.
2) The itchy spells are much less as well as the duration. Normally I had the crazy itches for about two hours, now it lasts for about ten minutes or so. What a relief.
3) The plagues are also still prominent, but much less scaling.
A bit of advice which may benefit someone else: Keep your skin moisturized, it helps with the itch and I have noticed that the ointment variants works better than the creams. Dry skin emollient with cetomacrogol works the best for me so far.
Just to chat: I had a scare the day before yesterday. Early evening I took a Celebrex capsule (for it's anti inflammatory properties), as I ran out of anti-histamines. Later that night I woke up with a high fever and chills. Early morning I noticed flaming red spots all over my torso and back, purply red nose and spots on my face and bloody red eyes as if I was on a sherry binge.
Off to my dermatologist and blood work.
The result: I am one of a few people who have an allergic reaction to Celebrex (Celecoxib). Please google for similar variants in your country.
