In addition to the study in this thread showing a correlation between psoriasis and sleep apnea, there's another. It shows that the psoriasis medication dimethyl fumarate not only reduces obstructive sleep apnea but reduces NF-κB, a protein complex that plays a role in inflammation and immune response. I speculate that obstructive sleep apnea is not only a comorbidity of psoriasis but that the two conditions may have a common underlying inflammatory cause in some cases.
