Hi Grant and welcome. I am a newbie to the forum but a very old friend of Psoriasis. It has been with me on and off for over 50 years, I was around 4 when diagnosed.
I'm having an outbreak and inverse P and not the plaque that I used to have. I have an appointment with a dermatologist in December, first time I over 30 years. I've managed my condition myself with GP input. This time, thanks to advice from the lovely folk here, I politely insisted on seeing a specialist.
It must have been a shock to receive your diagnosis. There will be a cream, lotion, potion or pill that will help, not cure but help to manage the P. I'm hoping you have family that you can talk to and it may help you to talk to a professional.
Read the information here although I went into information overload.
I'm happy to chat. Welcome again
