My post duplicated and I'm not sure how to delete it, so I'll say more things. I'm sure a lot of the science behind using any sort of electric impulse is much different on a case to case basis. I still give anesthesia for ECT therapy, basically shocking and convulsing the brain out of depression, which still works better than most medicines for a select group of patients. If we're talking wavelengths instead of voltage, there's UVB, sunlight of course, infrared saunas (which help me somewhat), etc.
