As long as they do not research it, they often do not see it. They, the doctors, mostly don’t have the time to look good at the patients in the small period of time they have talking to them. So detecting a mood change in more patients, thinking about this and then drawing conclusions will hardly happen.
I don't know Caroline it is the third most used drug sold in the whole world I would have thought that something would have been seen if it did anything different.
True Dave, but... I would like to remind you to .... Is Fred nowhere around? ... DMF, which is an amazing drug with amazing capabilities, but has been almost ignored for more then 35 years. So I think it is certainly possible to "not see" or overlook certain capabilities of drugs.
The same holds for aspirin by the way, an excellent blood thinner, would be smart if e.g. elderly people would take one or two before going to make a journey in an airplane.
Still there is no recommendation for that by medicine.
