Hi Mike
I feel for you the problem has been the same for most of us psoriasis sufferers
When I first met my now wife a lot of years ago. I had psoriasis bad in my scalp and legs and back,
So it soon became obvious I had something. I didn't dare get into a serious clinch as the bumps on my body would give it away. She never mentioned it but on about the third date when I thought f it if I don't tell her she will leave me anyway so I bit the bullet and told her and she said she had a friend with it, and she looked beyond the skin.
I know it's hard but for casual relationships I used to hide it as much as possible but if you are serious about someone best to come clean early as if she dumps you it's better early rather than later.
If she accepts you let her know it's not constant and hospitals and doctors can control it very successfully these days with tablets or injections
My suggestion to you is get to a dermatologist tell them your concern and get onto something that will control it other than Steroid creams
