I can see their point. Stelara isn't great for psoriatic arthritis, but it helped me for just over 6 years before giving up. It's not a patch on cosentyx and there were moments I needed some pain killers especially when it was damp, but it did help. It depends how bad the psoriatic arthritis is, but I found getting rid of the psoriasis with Stelara helped me get more positive over the psoriatic arthritis.
My advise would be stick with it and review like they say after 6 months, if it's not helping enough with the psoriatic arthritis but clearing the psoriasis then you can decide the next step.
