Happy that there's a relatively safe and easy solution but absolutely disappointed and sad why no one told me about this before. My dermatologist told me that a lot of her colleagues just didn't know about it a few years ago.
The one I have now is young, I think she's about my age, maybe a few years older.
Yes, Indeed, Why isn't it more known. It has been around for a very long time already and the effects on Psoriasis are already very long known, about 50 years. It is a very long and complex story if you would dive into it, but I think it comes down to basically two points.
1. It is very cheap, so you hardly can earn anything, that is why it wasn't picked up by industry, but only by a few doctors aiming only at the patients well being.
2. It was first found by an ordinary doctor, not by the university specialists. I think 'establishment' has also played a large role.
It is very good that new and young doctors are now more open to it.
That´s exactly what the dermatoligist told me; it's cheap, it can't be patented and although they know it works, it's still kind of "of the grid" to prescribe it.
