Carolne, yes, you definitely need a trigger.
It is estimated dat about 10% of the world's population is born with "the right set of genes" to develop psoriasis, but only 2 to 3% actually get it.
And my dermatologist suggested it to me :-). I told her I was tired of all the ointments and the last time I had a flare I spend months on light treatment without any effect. I am a mother, working and a student so I don't havet the time to go to the dermatologist 3x a week. The dermatologist fully understood. The last time I had flare it only went away because I was pregnant. She gave me information and told me to think about it :-).
