Be very careful self treating especially with your own UV light it could actually make your problem worse. I don't know how you health system works but like Bill said "it's not perfect" but it's best to get treated properly.
Have a good look around and feel free to start new threads to ask specific questions, none of us a medicaly trained but between us we have a lot of hands on experience on dealing with psoriasis.
