Yes it's time to talk with your dermatologist about trying one of the oral treatments. See this thread: Oral Treatments For Psoriasis
If you're not yet seeing a dermatologist get your GP to refer you to one especially if you indeed are getting psoriatic arthritis, the sooner you get treatment the better and it can be managed.
You don't need to hide away from us here because we don't care what people look like, and we will never ask you to sweep up after your visit.
If you ever feel depressed come and talk to us, we have a special thread for members only here: [Group Specific]
Also the [Group Specific] will help you get to know some of our members and they are a great bunch, so just dive on in.
