Well it has been a little while since I updated so here we are.
Using the MTX injections hasn't had any negative impact on me and has helped clear some of the more stubborn areas. I still have like dry skin on my butt however it is more like dry skin than psoriatic lesions.
I am one of the fortunate ones in that I have had no ill effects on MTX.
There is a downside to the injections in that you do need a sharps box and as I work away a lot taking sharps home is weird, they also take up some space as the sharps box they gave me is the size of a waste paper bin and the syringes are individually packed and take up space as well. OK it's not like they need their own room but I have not got used to needles in the house yet.
Also there seems to be a policy that you can only return the full sharps box to where it came from! Good old NHS bureaucracy.
Injecting myself is now second nature and simply does not hurt at all. I have only injected into my manly muscular thighs and not my belly as I simply can't bring myself to do that.
All in all a positive experience so far.
