Hi,

I'm 26 with PPP on hands and soles of feet (diagnosed 2016 after stressful split with husband)and I cant sleep with the itching! Currently on momentasone steroid and aveeno and certobane moistueusers.  And an anti- histamine. In about my 5th week of light therapy also but not really seeing any difference.  Can anyone give we any tips/ advice?

Hi and   to the club I'm glad you have found your way here, and hope you can get some relief from the psoriasis soon, it seems as if the steroid creams are not helping you, and the light treatment isn't working either, I would be inclined to tell your dermatology department that are giving you the light treatment that you are having awful itching and the treatment isn't working, tell them it is getting you down that it's affecting your quality of life and self esteem ask them if you can move onto a systemic treatment......as the best the uv and steroid will do is give temporary relief ......have a look through Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis at the treatments that are available, and get a good quality virgin coconut oil it might soothe the itch

Ask as many questions as you like the members are all very friendly and happy to offer advice if they can
