The only thing that works for systemic pain is NSAIDs. And unfortunately, they don't help with tendon pain. The best choice is physical therapy. Opids may help with permanent joint damage, but I don't recommend using them. The pain becomes the new normal for most of us.
On another note, I found that the IL-17s work well for the back and not so much for anything else. And yes, it takes 8 to 12 weeks to kick in.
