So today marks 15 days on Dovobet and 8 days on Neotigason.
Dovobet so far has worked like a charm on the larger patches on my arms, legs and chest. I would say they are 95% gone. Some patches are still reddish and I am still working on those. I still apply the product very carefully to patches that are almost completely clear just to avoid resurgence. I have seen I have two large patches on my knees, one for each knee, and those are still quite active. I guess it's because with all the friction against the clothes it is difficult to maintain the same efficacy compared to other parts of the body where there is less friction. Overall I am very happy to see that the stuff works and is very effective on big patches.
Seems all good however it is not quite effective on small patches (the drops of the guttate p). I have a few small patches on my left hand and it's not working at all. It's also basically impossible for me to apply the product effectively on the patches on my back. What I do is I put one drop of product on my finger and gently rub the patches that I can reach. I might ask my partner to apply the product for me on the back but to tell you the truth she is so tired before going to bed due to her caring for the baby all day long that I just try and do it myself without bothering her.
Neotigason, I guess it's way too early to say something at all about it. I understand it's not working yet because I have some new patches now (and in some pretty annoying spots too, like just beneath the hairline and eyebrows). New tiny drops have appeared on the palms of my hands which is something I have not seen in many many years. Is this some side effect that the p gets a boost during the first days on the drug?
Well, let's see how things go in the next few days, bring it on
