Starting MTX

Well Mrs Pingu (Mrs by default not married as she is not that lucky ) is a carer and has done all that kind of thing and would be as happy to stick needles in me all day as I would be happy to stick needles in her.

I know it is massively psychological as I had an injury with an open wound just a couple of years ago when I was travelling extensively. Explaining to the nurses I couldn't take time off they trained me to pack and dress it myself. It was in a place that I needed a mirror to view!!!!!!!!!!!! First time nearly threw up then the burses just monitored my progress for 2 weeks until my next trip and then I returned 3 weeks later (5 weeks total). They were impressed as they had never seen anyone dress and pack that kind of wound themselves.

So yes I can do it (once I get over the initial squeamishness)! Hell NO I don't want to! I still hate having my bloods done having had two sets and a flu jab in one day in December and having bloods done on an almost weekly basis right now.

Fasting bloods tonight!

I still think it is easier than lotions and creams every night and I am more free but having all my bloods done ever 5 minutes is getting tiresome!
