Need help on white psoriasis scars

ok so im going to try and make this short as possible i finally got a job with health care but it takes a few weeks to kick in so i want to get the ball rolling right away on dealing with these scars. My psoriasis is practically gone thats been my battle the past few years but now i face a new battle in treating the scars it left behind. Its only on my arms i have white spots that lost pigment and i really hope its not perminent. Any help is welcomed is anybody else dealing with this? I would post a pic but dont know how i just hope there is a chance i coudl atleast get some pigment back.

Hi Jon and welcome to the club, I hope you enjoy the site which is packed with loads of information about the disease along with members experiences...we don't have health professionals here just fellow sufferers that will always pass an opinion or offer advice
Regarding your lack of pigment, where your plaques were, I have a similar problem on my legs where my skin is thin after years of steroid creams and have several white spots on them that don't seem to change ...but looks better through the winter as my tan fades

Hello Jon   to Psoriasis Club.

Pigment change can take a long time to fade, and I have found where there is pigment change that is usually the places where it will flare first.

Sunshine is your best friend to help, but it can take a long time before it looks the same as the rest of your skin.

If it bothers you that much you could try disguising it with some cover make up.

Welcome to the club Jon, I have some area's that have lost pigment and some that have taken time to get back to something like normal. The only thing I can think of is as suggested cover them with some kind of makeup like suntan cream.
Have a good look around and check the various posts , all the best I hope that you find some answers..

I'm just starting to develop pale patches as my PS is fading, fortunately mine are on my legs and normally hidden. Sorry but I'm not going to be any use to you. The pale patches in my book are far better than the angry red itchy patches.

I have some light pigment spots (not from psoriasis, not sure why they are there) but they have faded over time and now you have to really look to notice them. As suggested, in the meantime you could cover with some make up.

Welcome Jon, I've got a few white patches like that, in fact it looks like vitiligo. I'm actually less self conscious of them as know they won't flake and don't look as angry as my other patches. 
I have found in the past  that being out in the sun helps as although they don't completely disappear, they do look less obvious.
