Hi Daniela and a warm welcome  Welcome  to our club. I hope you will enjoy your time with us and hope you may get some replies from out members...
You don't say if you are a psoriasis sufferer but I will assume you are because you have found your way here.
We have members from around the world and I'm sure there must be some that have used Aloe Vera in one form or another....
Myself I'm afraid I am getting older and have tried all sorts of things in my time but never Aloe Vera drink or cream.

Do have a good look around the natural treatments board as there are a lot of things that have been tried there which might be of interest to you

We also have an active off topic section that you as a member are welcome to visit and participate if you wish in the various threads in there

You will no doubt have noticed when you signed up and when you browse the threads, you won't find advertising , spam or bullying..people that try that are dumped quickly ..Making this is a very safe site for you and me , full of friendly people enjoying discussing our ailment  Thumb  the site is run and funded by Fred who's aim is to give psoriasis sufferers a unique place to safely browse and enjoy .

I look forward to hearing more from you  Thumb
Jim

Hello Jim,

yes I have got psoriasis for about 10 years (skull / facial area) and sometimes my nails.

I have started testing aloe vera products on myself recently so would like to know others opinions. I am going to have a look about.

Thank you for welcoming :-)

Hi Daniela,

Welcome to the forum.

If your do a search for "Vera", then you will get several hits on Aloe Vera and the people who have tried it.
It is in the natural treatments section.

Cheers
Caroline

Daniela it's good that you are researching Aloe Vera but beware and don't part with a lot of money on a product that may soothe the itch at an inflated price

Hi Daniela I was once conned into drinking some of the disgusting stuff and yes it worked but not on the P in fact the very opposite to the P !!!!! Huh
There are many things that claim this that and the other and even though everyone is different 99% of them are as much use as a chocolate teapot , I think that diets are another area that in the main do not work though it is possible that some people feel a little better when eat or do not eat certain foods but as far as it goes the P is not effected. A friend of mine went on a fancy diet that he was conned into and his P cleared up ,what he failed to tell everyone was he had started taking cyclosporine at the same time , he had no problems with that but cyclosporine nearly killed me ,I really felt very ill with it. We all react differently to different treatments.

Nope and I wouldn't waste my money on it. It's a con, and if it was that easy we wouldn't have 100s of people here still looking.

Hi nice to meet you Smile

I haven't tried any aloe Vera products but I do know it works really well on burns as I have a plant in my kitchen.

I would suggest you just try the plant itself rather than buying products, you just cut a piece and squeeze it on. I'm not expecting you to report marvellous results I'm afraid, but it does calm down burns and they seem to get better faster so who knows?
