Hello,

I'm a bit of a newbie, but have had psoriasis (scalp and body) for as long as i can remember, so maybe that makes me more of an oldie?...

Anyway, always been in and out of these forums reading other peoples 'miracle cures' and going off and trying them for myself and nothing happening. have come to the conclusion that different things work for different people.

But recently (only been 2 weeks now so it is still early days) i started using a new one called Salcura DermaSpray Intensive and the moisturiser that goes with it. Only decided to give it a go cos they give away free samples on their website but i have already seen a massive difference. -still slight redness where a few of my bigger patches were, but its nowhere near as red, raised, itchy or angry-looking as it was. my scalp is starting to feel a lot smoother too -can't feel any big clumps like i could before and i'm noticing less and less flakes.

I don't want to count my chickens before they've hatched but its made such a phenomenal difference already that i cant help but feel really optimistic.

Obviously, i still believe different things work for different people but I thought i'd share this with all of you, in case this one works for you too. Hope it does xx

Anyone else using it or tried it before?

Hello Carla and Welcome

Don't know it myself, but it's always nice to hear of things that work for people. But it's true what you say what works for some may not work for others. keep us informed, it could help others to monitor your progress.

EDIT: I forgot to say I will remove your other thread with the same title as it won't work. it's to do with an apostrophe in the post title or description. this post explains: SQL Error:

Hi Carla,

I've seen the stuff before, read about it and found a leaflet in the pharmacy.
I was cheeky and contacted the company and got sent a free sample :-)
Can't say I noticed much on the patch I used it on other than smells lovely and moisturises really well....I didn't use I for any where near as long as they suggest!!
I then started my UVB so not far to try the stuff when I know the UVB will help!

good luck and please keep me posted on how it goes

X

Yeah, its great that they do the free samples so you can see if it works for you! -I must've spent thousands£ over the years trying stuff that never worked.

have just ordered my first proper batch -got it from their site cos its got 30 day guarentee but hopefully wont need it-
still going really good -not completely gone but i'm so much less itchy and the its not red and angry looking or anywhere near as flakey, you actually sort of have to look to see it now, which is amazing -normally its all i can see when i look in the mirror.

hope the UVB works out for you Smile

The sample pack is free but you have to pay £2 delivery. And looking at the pricing it's cheaper with the Amazon.
50ml Amazon £6.66 Salcura £9.99
100ml Amazon £11.98 Salcura £14.99

I know there is no such thing as a miracle cure - but I bought this stuff yesterday - and I have woken up flake free on my face and the patches seem to be a lot less red... I used the spray and cream twice yesterday....

The psoriasis was i the early stages on my face, and relatively mild area wise - but definitely very flakey and sore - I'd been using lacri-lube on the docs advice (it's very close to my eyes), and I am on steroid eye drops anyway for blocked tear ducts...

The patches around the rest of my body seem a lot smoother but still 'plaque-ing' - but they've been around for several years, so if they'd have shown such instant results i'd have fainted I'm sure!

I also invested in some evening primrose and wassen's 'silica-ok', so we'll see how they go! Actually feeling positive!
