He's aware of what France will be doing but no instructions were given here for a third dose.

They are currently scrambling to rebook the second dose appointments earlier as they initially booked them 3 months apart!

Sorry missed your post KatT we posted at the same time "Double bubble"

It looks like France is the only country so far taking this approach, and yes you will have to follow your countries protocol.

3 months apart ? here it's 6 - 8 weeks, I wonder why all countries are different.

Oh well this is the first time ever that I have taken a flu jab so if I pop my clogs for having three shots I will come back and haunt you all.  CB

You can haunt me, I have a psychic on speed dial so we'd be able to converse. Big Grin

Three weeks between shots 1 and 2 here.

Good to know I can still get words of wisdom Tongue

Very odd that countries have different times between shots and now some are offering 3 shots, I would have thought they would follow manufacturers instructions. Huh

They did that here because vaccine supply was short.....now it's not so they are trying to rearrange the appointments.

Depends on the vaccine here in Australia, AstraZeneca is two doses 12 weeks apart, the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is two doses three weeks apart. I have had my first dose of AstraZeneca my next on is booked for the 30th of June.

Confirmed in an article over here, people on certain immunosuppressants have a lover response on the vaccine.
Specifically methotrexate and rituximab are being mentioned. Sources are several research publications in a.o. the US.
A researcher says: “We believe that the underlying chronic immune stimulation in autoimmune patients may lead to T-cell depletion and thus an attenuation of the immune response. In addition, specific drugs, such as methotrexate, can interfere with the immune response.“

Now psoriasis is no typical auto immune disease, but it it treated with the same kind of medications.

Why don't they all agree, surely it would make sense to have everyone singing from the same sheet so they could pool the information.
