Hello and welcome to the forum.
To answer your question I would say that hot flushes that make your head go red and work their way down your body is normal at the start of treatment May I ask how long you have been on Fumaderm and what dose you are on? Usually the side effect of flushing will pass after around half an hour or at least that's the case with me. I found by taking the tablets with meals and flushing them down with plenty of fluid reduced the flushing

And today is the first day on Fumaderm full strength. It sounds very like a Fumaderm flush did you take the tablet long ago? Was it with food? Did you take plenty of fluid to flush it through? The effect can be quite unpleasant but if you can stick with it it will lessen and eventually like me hopefully you will only get odd flushes

Is the Fumaderm having any effect on your psoriasis , can you notice any difference?
Another reason you may well be feeling extra hot and itchy could be a combination of the hot weather and the drug combined Another thing you could try is a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a towel to ease the itching

yes jimi first day on the 120mg dose - was fine on the 30mg - but this is a whole new ball game - took the pill about 3 hours ago with food and loads of water - could cope if I was not itching so much - it is cool weather wise just now so don't think that the weather is a factor

no reduction on my skin yet - some parts are so dry they split and bleed - just hoping this treatment will work

The only thing I can tell you is that Fumaderm has a very high success rate around 70% and the people who give up often do because they can't stand the side effects.
I never had the itching that you are getting but I know others on here have had similar experience and have come through the other side. You say you can't see an improvement yet, it is early days for you yet Fumaderm is a slow to work drug and doesn't give instant relief. What it does is give long lasting relief Try and stick the side effects, moisturise your skin to stop it cracking ( try coconut oil Fred who runs the site put me on to it) and it is gentle and soaks in easily Try taking the tablet earlier in the day it may work for you , just change a few things which may help Jim

just took the Psoriasis number test - im a 34 - - only had it for 5 years and it is getting to me now - have done light treatment and "special baths " at the hospital - methotrexate helped for a while but then it messed up my liver and kidneys - I know there will be no miracle cure - but I need something to start working
