Oh yes, there is winter snow in the highlands between Canberra and Melbourne. Stanthorpe will rarely get a fall of snow which melts fairly quickly.

I had another blood test on Friday. Here are the accumulated results:
So after almost two years, the lymphocytes are back to a normal range. Why? I have had a cold and taken only one dose of DMF in the last four weeks, but I have had worse colds and a four week break without effect. I have also been supplementing with B vitamins, but I have done this before with very little effect. What I have been doing is supplementing with iron sulphate. Specifically, I have taken 325mg twice daily on an empty stomach with 500mg vitamin C. I did this for three weeks and a couple of days. I now take 325/500 doses two or three times a week. The iron sulphate was obtained in the form of a plant supplement from a hardware store. It is identical to the iron sulphate sold in pharmacies, but less than 2% of the cost. With the count back to normal I will only need quarterly blood tests, but I will start donating blood so that I can keep an eye on my iron levels. I can finally resume twice weekly dosing with 800mg DMF. I feel very relieved.

Great news Bill it’s looking good on the blood results it’s good to see the lymphocytes back at such a good level, It seems as if your supplements are helping get them back up it will be interesting to see the next set of results to see if it’s sustained
Well done with your persistence looking for answers

Thanks Jim. I don't see why the count would change adversely. This is the best lymphocyte count for me since at least October 2015, so clearly iron is important. Of course, I will be checking, not least because iron can be toxic if you take too much.

Nothing better than feeling relieved Bill.
I must say I do sometimes find your experiments entertaining. Don't think we've ever had anyone at Psoriasis Club buying from the Hardware Store to treat their psoriasis. Keep it up and good luck.

Maybe I am stupid.
But what is a "hardware store". By the name I get the impression that it is a store which sells lawnmowers, sewer pipes, tools, battery operated drilling machines, etc. So how can you buy there stuff what you can use as a medication for the iron levels in the blood. ???

Hi Caroline,
I have been taking this stuff: The good thing is that when you are finished supplementing your body's iron you can put it to other uses.

Well Bill I have to say you are a lot braver man than I. Personally I would be very wary of putting non Pharma grade in my body, but it seems to be doing the business. If you are dosing Iron are you keeping check on your blood iron levels? I have seen the damage high blood iron can do and its not pretty.
