There a bunch of different inflammatory diseases of the back. Most get lumped into being PsA because of better drug access. I tend to lump hip pain into the back since it's the hallmark starting point. People with spondylitis tend to have tendon problems in ankle and other places. Doesn't mean you have any of this. Also, it may require an MRI and or ultrasound to check for. Your OP almost describes what I went through. I had some degeneration where my legs connected to my hip. Further examination turned up damage in my lower back.
