i am alan and live in the uk
i have been on bimzelx for 3 months and prob 90% clear but having some side effects
before that cosentyx successfully for a few ears and before that stelara for many years good for p but not so good for pa
i am 61 years old  barely married, still working and after suffering with p for 42 years i have finally got used to the shame of looking diseased and ugly. i have suffered mental illness anxiety and depression on and off for the same time ive had p.  linked maybe?
ive joined up on here hoping there are people here who can answer a few questions i have about my medication and other aspects of lifestyle changes diet etc to manage my symptoms better.
i am happy and have hobbies including motorbikes (riding and tinkering),  guitar playing, watching football, romance, and boring people to death with long intros on forums.

As for being quick talking to Caroline about motorbikes, you are welcome to start a new thread in [Group Specific] if you do you will probably get others talking about bikes. Myself and Dave are ex bikers.

Yes mental health problems are linked to psoriasis, but you now always have us to share with and you will find a lot of support.

Your intro isn't boring, though it's not compulsory we would rather people do one as it helps newbies settle in.

As for guitar you will find a few musical threads in Off Topic so have a prod around and dive in.

Any problems just shout out, someone will find you.

Psoriasis can certainly be hard on self esteem, but don't let it define you. It is nice to be around people who understand the struggles of psoriasis and I'm glad you found your way here. We're a friendly, supportive group and people here are always willing to try to help if they can on answering questions.

its a bit late now re the defining  Kat,  ive had 40 odd years of lurking in the shadows.
but as im nearing my twilight years nothing really matters anymore and things dont bother me like they used to.
