Wave For anyone who needs a new natural remedy, I've found that Aloe Vera Gel (helps soothe itching and moistures the skin) and Argon oil which also soothes the itching right away and also helps the skin to return to its pigment works best. For the best results apply the Aloe and Argon oil 3times a day. It is best to do this after a shower.

It's not very new and has been spoken about a lot before.

Be careful of the scams, there are a lot of Aloe Vera ones out there and it won't help your psoriasis. Helps with itching yes, but calling it a "Remedy" is a bit misleading.

Hi na1299  Welcome  to the club, I hope you enjoy your time with us, your thread is interesting as many members have problems with the itch....I find it interesting that you say that argon oil helps return the pigment to the skin ....I hadn't heard that before ....
How long have you been on the treatment as you have only recently been diagnosed and what prompted you to try the combination of aloe Vera and argon oil ?

Thanks for posting, you will find us a friendly group of sufferers who are also happy to exchange experience of their treatment ..look around the site you might find other things that are effective at clearing the skin long term

I know there are scams and Aloe has helped me with my psoriasis it's helped stopped itching for me. And I didn't intend to say it was a remedy as if psoriasis can be cured which I am aware it cannot

Hello! thanks for the welcome. I hadn't heard either until i searched it and found that the Vitmain E in Argon oil helps reduce the redness in skin. Also I got good results after using for a week. I chose the combination because of the anti-inflammatory affects of both Argon and Aloe, both moistuze my skin (which is important because I noticed that when my skin was dry my psoriasis would be worse but when I did use these two products my skin stayed moisturized) and also both provide soothing from the itching.

Hello Na. Fellow American idiot here  Wave I'm sorry to hear about your diagnoses.  I was curious to the severity of your plaque P.  I myself have it in all the classic spots(scalp, knees, elbows, hands)
Then occasionally a break out (wrist to elbow, calves, face and sone small spots in random ereas).  You do not have to be specific.  Just a " bad enuff dude" will suffice. I seen that you haven't had it long and haven't gotten to "wild" yet on your treatment. I may have some advice for you.
