Dear All,

This remedy worked for me, I hope you did not already try it

I stopped eating gluten, and after 1month & half, the psoriasis stopped & never came back

So take your drugs, creams & so on on the bin, & just stop gluten

The thing is : You have to stop gluten long enough to see results  !!
even a little brownie in this 1 month & half, and that is one more 1month& half to wait to see the psoriasis stop

I think this is the main reason why people did not get success with this option...

Personally I wanted to eat bread & so on after 3 weeks, because after 3 weeks of stopping gluten, there was no result, and this was even worst !!

So be patientSmile
Please give this treatment around you and on other forum if this is not already on other forums

Happy no gluten diet! Smile
(yes goodbye bread, pizzas, pastas, croissants in the morning....but come on ! no more pso ! that's worst doing it!)

Hi Sirshaa and welcome Welcome to the club, I have heard about a gluten free diet being helpful for psoriasis but I'm afraid I love my food more than I hate my psoriasis, and while there is an alternative that works for me, I can't see me following a diet like that and being unhappy doing it.

Saying that though I wish you continued success with it and hope it continues to work well for you,

Enjoy yourself on the forum and read of other people's treatments and successes and if you want to venture into the off topic section you will be made to feel very welcome..

I look forward to hearing on here of your continued success
Jim

The way I understand it is that if one is intolerant to gluten, it could cause a flare for a person who also has psoriasis. But if a person doesn't have an intolerance to gluten, then changing the diet will have no effect. Basically the only way to tell is as you suggest, stop eating gluten for months and see if things improve. But since psoriasis has other triggers as well, it could still come back. Basically if one is having issues due to gluten intolerance, then there is a whole checklist of things to look for. So it could work for some people, but probably would not work for everyone.

I'm glad it's working for you though! Smile As Jim has said, I too would be miserable on such a strict diet and would only go on it if I had to for medical reasons (Celiac disease for instance or symptoms that suggest I might have a gluten intolerance.)
